The IMT 902 is a PWM chopper type sinusoidal micro step bipolar stepping motor driver.

2 stepping motors can be controlled by a single low loss and highly integrated driver IC

Advantages

    allows for space and cost savings with a maximum of functionality and a minimum of external components
  • microstep switching
    selectable from 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 step enables smooth and constant running and reduces system resonance considerably .

    reduces power dissipation significantly
  • serial transmission protocol (e.g. SPI)
    reduces the number of PINs
